
Zosia Eppensteiner, Chief Executive Officer
Zosia and her husband Eric live in Marquette. They enjoy spending time outdoors with their son, Max and their dog, Nala.

Emma Schultz, Program Associate
Emma Schultz has been with the Foundation since the beginning of 2018. Emma is a 2017 graduate of Northern Michigan University. During her time at Northern she volunteered with CSNMU and was an intern at Travel Marquette.
“I appreciate being a part of the community in Marquette County, from growing up in Ishpeming, working in Marquette and now living in Michigamme, it’s exciting to see aspects of the Foundation all throughout our area. ”
Emma enjoys taking hikes, fishing and spending time with her family, friends, husband and three dogs at their house on Lake Michigamme.

Melissa Matuscak Alan, Donor and Community Outreach Associate
Melissa is originally from lower Michigan but has called Marquette home for over fifteen years. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design from NMU in 2002, and a Masters in Arts Administration and Policy from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2007. Shortly after finishing graduate school, she returned to Marquette where she was Director and Curator of the DeVos Art Museum at NMU from 2007-2018. Melissa serves on the board of the Liberty Children’s Art Project in Marquette and is an advisor to the John Lautner Foundation based in Los Angeles.
Melissa lives in Marquette with her husband Scott, son Oskar, dog Dexter and two cats, Bill and Irma. They enjoy gardening, cooking and playing in the woods on their ten-acre homestead.
