 The Community and Donor Engagement Associate will require a creative disposition while maintaining flexibility and a highly collaborative style in connecting to and working with Marquette County residents, teams and organizations that span sectors.

The Community and Donor Engagement Associate will develop, manage and implement the Foundation’s community engagement activities and services, including special initiatives, donor engagement and development.

Summary
The Community and Donor Engagement Associate acts as the primary point of contact for a variety of funders, donors and stakeholders. This position will manage both key development and relationship building initiatives. Reporting to the CEO, the Community and Donor Engagement Associate provides oversight of our donor stewardship, development, and special initiatives. The Community and Donor Engagement Associate ensures the Foundation serves as the resource for philanthropy in Marquette County by working closely with our nonprofit partners to invest our grant dollars most effectively; building stronger relationships with our existing and potential donors; and exploring new ideas and initiatives to address our community’s most pressing needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Community Engagement
The Community and Donor Engagement Associate is responsible for ensuring that programming pursued by the Foundation is informed by and driven by the community and membership. The Community and Donor Engagement Associate oversees and manages the Foundation’s special initiatives, projects and programs.

Donor Engagement and Development
The Community and Donor Engagement Associate implements and administers the
Foundation’s donor relations and stewardship strategies through the execution of tasks that advance the Foundation’s relationships with donors, fundholders, and nonprofit agency partners.

Proficiency with all aspects of Microsoft Windows systems, unique database systems and on-line technology including but not limited to Mailchimp, Canva, WordPress, Jotform.
