A. The foundation is a non-profit, community organization created by and for the people of Marquette County service area. We are here to help our donors make a positive impact on their community.

A. We can help you learn more about local organizations and programs that make a difference in the area you care about most.

Q. How successful is the  Community Foundation of Marquette County?

A. Community Foundation of Marquette County was launched in 1988 with $30,000. Currently, the foundation’s assets total over $17 million.

We have invested over $6 million back into the community through grants to non-profit organizations and schools and scholarships to individuals who plan to further their education.

Q. How many funds are there?

A. The foundation currently has 162 funds.

A. Our staff has an in-depth understanding of the issues, opportunities, and resources that shape our community. They monitor all areas of community need – including human services, education, the environment, healthcare, the arts and economic development.
